All welcome to this meeting – whether involved in Transition or not.
We need your ideas for new social enterprise projects that can make Ipswich communities more resilient to shocks from peak oil, climate change etc. TI’s Resilient Livelihoods theme aims to create social enterprises that:
■ make a valuable contribution to Ipswich communities,
■ increase community resilience to threats like peak oil and climate change,
■ help to build a resilient local economy with less dependence on fossil fuels,
■ provide fair, meaningful and secure jobs for local people.
Transition Ipswich (TI) is one of ten Transition initiatives recently selected for Transition Training & Consulting’s “Reconomy” project, which ties in neatly with our newly formed Resilient Livelihoods theme.
