Making woodlands work for humans and wildlife

The Trees and Woodlands community resource for humans and wildlife event is taking place on Sunday, March 20 at Martlesham Community Hall with talks and workshops starting at 10am till 1pm followed by lunch and a countryside walk from 2pm to 4pm.

Included in the day will be talks from people with practical experience of managing forest gardens and woodland for fuel. Speakers will be able to share experiences ranging from working with the Woodland Trust and creating new community woodland from scratch as well as sources of funding for those wanting to protect their community’s green spaces.
