30 mile Radius From IP1 1DD (click on this and then again on next page to get the map, 30 miles is a long way)
We are busy creating new pages for the 30 Mile Local Food Challenge. This in essence means eating food grown and produced within 30 miles. Awareness raising to see what is produced locally and vital in terms of local resilience in a post peak oil world but also fun to see where the gaps are, to support local producers and to challenge ourselves with a fun supportive groups of Ipswichians doing it alongside. There are plenty of other groups in Suffolk wanting to do this challenge too, join us.You can use the info we will have about the challenge and and give you a link to your own site or just copy our text and ideas, we got them from Greener Fram and Transition Stour Valley. We also want pubs, restaurants, schools and lots of other food places to join in. WHEN: The Challenge will be for the 30 days in September 2012 and maybe every year ever after.
